Abstracts Of Obituaries In The Western Christian Advocate 1834-1850 compiled by Margaret R. Waters, Dorothy Riker, and Doris Leistner

Margaret Waters started the project and it was first published in 1945. It included approximately 3,700 deaths from volumes of the Western Christian Advocate. In 1986 Dorothy Riker volunteered to continue the project and also to fill in the volumes missing in the original work. With the help of Doris Leistner they added nearly 8,000 additional obituaries.
